Weekdays follow a steady shared rhythm. Weekends are lighter family invitations—keep them playful, skip them freely.

Why Waldorgio?

Rhythm gives the day roots.
Inquiry gives it wings.

The approach

Waldorf rhythm meets Reggio inquiry.

This plan pairs the warmth, story, artistic practice, and predictable rhythm of Waldorf education with Reggio Emilia’s image of the capable child, provocative materials, collaborative investigation, and visible documentation.

Head, heart, hands

Ideas arrive through story and direct experience, then become drawing, writing, number work, building, movement, and conversation.

One room, two depths

Begin together. Move into parallel invitations matched to each child. Rejoin to share discoveries and care for the learning space.

Plan, observe, respond

The month is a path, not a script. Photograph work, save exact words, and let strong questions reshape tomorrow.

The room teaches too

Display a few beautiful materials, keep tools reachable, and leave unfinished investigations visible enough to invite a return.

A breathable weekday

The shared rhythm

  1. Gather + awakenVerse, movement, oral review, and today’s beautiful object.
  2. Main lessonShared story, close observation, demonstration, and essential question.
  3. Outside + snackVigorous movement, observation mission, and table reset.
  4. Language artsExplicit, differentiated reading and writing at one table.
  5. MathematicsFluency, direct teaching, worked practice, and application.
  6. Lunch + practical workPrepare, eat, clean, and take a genuine pause together.
  7. Inquiry studioAge-level investigations rejoin in collaborative making and research.
  8. Document + extendAge 7 closes; age 11 continues independent reading, revision, or analysis.

On hard mornings, keep only the opening, outside time, and closing reflection. Rhythm should hold the family—not hurry it.

Instructional audit

A real month, with room to breathe.

The standard plan contains 18 full academic days, two family practicums, one exhibition day, and nine optional weekend invitations. It is a complete instructional month—not a list of crafts. The thematic work sits alongside explicit literacy and mathematics every full day.

How to use it: Follow the timed “Standard day” in each lesson. The task lists are the actual teaching moves inside those blocks. Weekend invitations are enrichment, not required seat time. Local legal requirements vary; compare this instructional record with your jurisdiction’s attendance and subject rules.

Schedule studio

Shape the week around real life.

Set who is available, block appointments, connect read-only calendar feeds, and let the learning sequence flow into the next workable opening.

Teacher authoring

Grow the curriculum.

Create lessons, activities, materials, notes, and linked resources. Attach an addition to one lesson or let it follow every related lesson from that point forward.
